Early 17th Century Netherlandish alabaster relief, circa 1600, Mechelen/Malines, by Tobias van Tissenaken (1560-1624) depicting the Washing of the Feet, Maundy, still with traces of original gilding, with the sculptor’s signature to the bottom of the plague. 

Van Tissenaken was elected Dean of the Guild of Saint-Luke of Mechelen in 1619.
